Footway is a Swedish company that sells shoes online in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Great Britain, France, Poland, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Austria. The company was founded in 2010 and has enjoyed success on the back of its key values Kund (client), Kul (fun) and Kompis (buddy).
Avison’s job was to was carry out a comprehensive quality control of existing translations of nine languages on Footway’s e-commerce platform. Our consultants did a careful analysis of the terminology used in these languages, ensuring that the choice of wording and language was in line with the norms for large online stores and shoe sites. Footway wanted to be certain that users in all of their markets enjoyed the ultimate user experience when shopping on the company’s various sites.
And Footway no doubt gained some new customers in the form of our translators! definitely a win-win…
