Avison helps Machine World dig into new international markets

“Mirelle at Avison got in touch with us soon after Machine World took off and we decided to give them a shot. Avison has delivered a great service and in general been very pleasant to do business with. We will likely increase our collaboration going forwards.” Daniel Forslund

Daniel Forslund, the founder of Trino Games, is the creator of Machine World, a game app for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. The game is like a dream for boys, and Daniel got the idea from his own son. Machine World has few limits; you can fly helicopters, drive diggers and sail large ships. The imagination can run wild with the machines, which are extremely realistic, and users can build anything and get as dirty as they want!

Machine World has been really well received by both children and their dads, and Trino decided it was time to make the game available to a wider audience. To start with, several of the texts associated with the game were translated using Google Translate. But after Daniel received complaints about the quality of the translation, he decided to turn to a professional translation agency.

Avison Communication was brought in to make sure more and more fathers and sons in other countries could get a grip of Machine World. We translate the game to German, Spanish, French, Chinese (simplified Mandarin) and Japanese. We are used to working with apps, and with many languages, not least through our partnership with the app Flikkt, which we have been instrumental in creating. We are happy to assist Trino in getting Machine World out to a wider international audience.
